Live: Israel kills 45 in latest attacks on civilian shelters in Gaza
At least 45 die and over 100 are injured in Israeli assault on Gaza Wednesday, according to medical sources consulted by Al Jazeera, and deaths mount from strikes against the enclave during the wee hours and late night.
National Security Minister for Israel’s extreme right-wing parties Itamar Ben-Gvir confirms that United States Republican Party Congressmen agree with his “clear stance” favoring bombing “food and aid warehouses” inside Gaza.
Israel union leader promises another general strike against government action The leader of the influential Histadrut, Israel’s largest trade union federation, has warned that he is prepared to summon a third countrywide general strike against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government over their disrespect of the nation’s highest court.

Trump says ‘inflammatory’ Zelenskyy statement on Crimea prolongs war with Russia

US President Donald Trump condemned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s words on Crimea, terming them as “very harmful” to peacemaking efforts.
“It’s inflammatory rhetoric like Zelenskyy’s that makes it so hard to resolve this war,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “He has nothing to brag about! Things are bad for Ukraine — He can have peace or he can fight another three years before losing the entire country.”
Trump also dismissed Zelenskyy’s red line in the Truth Social post, stating that it was “not even a point of discussion” since the territory had “already been lost years ago” under then-President Barack Obama.
US officials have seemingly suggested allowing Russia to annex Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014, as a part of a truce offer. That also includes the freezing of existing frontlines.
In 2022, Zelenskyy told Axios that the “Russian war against Ukraine and against all free Europe started with Crimea and has to end with Crimea — and its liberation.” He reaffirmed this position on Tuesday, putting an end to speculation that Ukraine would accept Russian rule over Crimea.READ MORE
You final season review – an insultingly rubbish ending

You, in which a stalker and murderer of women, but a hunky one, is somehow constructed as the hero of the thing, is a basically ridiculous show. It washes its hands of believability in favor of vocal fry, phones that don’t require passwords and pseudo-lit second-person monologues. Maybe most ridiculous of all is that it has stretched the show out over five seasons. You were once fun, at least: a guilty-is guilty pleasure, in on its own over-the-top ridiculousness, that previously seemed to be cognizant that it wasn’t so much pushing the boundaries of credulity as body-barging it into an abyss. But over the years that have passed, the satire leaked out, and left a trail of chaos of its own creation that it attempts, and necessarily fails, to clean up.
The biggest issue is that Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is both hero and villain. In this last – and that truly is a mercy – season, You defaults to its long-standing habit of not being sure whether it wants him to be one or the other. After a familiarly deadly spell as a lecturer in an English university, Joe is now married to billionaire philanthropist Kate Lockwood (Charlotte Ritchie), residing in New York with her and with his newly returned son Henry. He is no longer living the life of an imposter who has faked his own death, another person. Rather, he is a public figure, keeping his many transgressions out of sight in plain sight.READ MORE
2025 NFL mock draft: Peter Schrager’s Round 1 pick predictions

Time’s a-tickin’ on the 2025 NFL draft. Time for my single attempt at mock draft, when I gaze into the future to Round 1. This is tradition, of course, and not something I’d ever actually do in life if I were general manager of all teams — here’s the way I’d parse the first 32 picks based on what I’m seeing from my league-wide sources.
Round 1 kicks off Thursday (8 p.m. ET, ABC, ESPN, ESPN App), and I blog Saturday and Sunday live from Green Bay. Now, projections, where I have two deals — one near the top 10 and one in the mid-20s. Here’s what I see:
Ward has this process so refined, and his front office so enamored not just with the player but with the individual and the leader that they have in obtaining their franchise. It is a new Tennessee franchise.
This is a good one. I’m told that there are clubs queuing up for No. 2. We might well be hearing a lot of this over the next 24 hours.
Hunter can be a day one number one defensive back, but he can be a number one wide receiver. He’s the most versatile player we’ve ever had. The Browns can — and will — use him on both sides of the ball. Coach Kevin Stefanski & Co. will get the most out of him on offense.READ MORE
